The nuclear plant of the future must be able to take advantage of the gains made by new digital technologies. However, these gains should not come at the expense of the safety, efficiency and operability of the industrial tool. IT security is an essential component for protecting critical digital systems against malicious acts, and thus helping to keep the industrial tool safe, available and efficient.

Blockchain and smart contract based solutions can facilitate secure exchanges within such critical applications. To do this, it is proposed to provide a simulation model to assist in the analysis, development and implementation of safe protocols and smart contracts.

The objective of this project is to develop an agent-based model to analyze by simulation the operational safety from the angle of the availability of the consensus protocol of the Hyperledger blockchain using MAX. To this end, various hypotheses will be tested in order to build a solid design for applications that use Hyperledger Fabric.
