Internship Topic: Trustworthy Reputation System for UAVs

Abstract

The development of autonomous multi-unmanned aerial vehicles, or multi-UAVs, represents significant progress in various fields, including the military, business, and civilian sectors. As this innovative field develops, the necessity of creating models that guarantee the fundamental components of security, privacy, dependability, effectiveness, and safety is growing. Based on this observation, this research suggests a novel reputation system that rates each UAV according to the level of services it provides which is essential for fostering dependable, effective, safe, and privacy-preserving multi-UAV operations. We conducted simulations to validate the proposed approach’s effectiveness. Our results show that under the presence of byzantine UAVs, the proposed reputation system can provide multi-UAV operations in an efficient and trustworthy manner.

This study contributes insights crucial for advancing autonomous aerial vehicle technologies across diverse applications, promoting innovation and operational excellence in multi-UAV deployments.
