In this project, a multi agent system (MAS) has been developed to automate the hotel reservation process, which is a typical process within the tourism industry. Individual customers, travel agencies and hotels may both be able to benefit from the usage of the system, since its functionalities will help to travellers or agencies to find a room with the desired properties. The system has been built using the FIPA compatible agent development framework, developed during the project. This project is supported by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) Electric, Electronic and Informatic Research Group (EEEAG) under grant 102E022.
